Release Dates Shifted for BATMAN V. SUPERMAN, KINGSMAN: THE SECRET SERVICE, POLTERGEIST

Some release date shifts were announced today, with the biggest being the move for Zack Snyder‘s Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice hopping from May 6th, 2016 to March 25th, 2016.  This is most certainly due to the fact that Marvel is set to release Captain America 3 during that same weekend, and Warner Bros. clearly doesn’t want to poke that giant.

Fox has announced they will be moving the upcoming Matthew Vaughn comic book adaptation Kingsman: The Secret Service from October of this year all the way back to February 13th of next year.  This is a bummer, as the first trailer for this film looks very cool, and I was a fan of the comic series.

Finally, the upcoming Poltergeist remake, directed by Gil Kenan has been pushed from February 13th, 2015 to July 24th.
