‘The Wolverine’ International and Domestic Trailers

Fox has finally released both the international and domestic trailers for The Wolverine which stars Hugh Jackman once again putting on the claws as one of Marvel’s post popular super heroes.

The film takes place in Japan and while the previous Wolverine left a bad taste in most peoples’ mouths, this one could redeem the series for its past transgressions.

The Wolverine is directed by James Mangold (Walk the Line, 3:10 To Yuma) and also stars Will Yun Lee, Tao Okamoto, Rila Fukushima, Svetlana Khodchenkova, Hiroyuki Sanada, Hal Yamanouchi, and Brian Tee.  Plan to see this when it hits theaters July 26th in 2D and 3D, hit the jump for both trailers and synopsis.

Based on the celebrated comic book arc, this epic action-adventure takes Wolverine, the most iconic character of the X-Men universe, to modern day Japan. Out of his depth in an unknown world he faces his ultimate nemesis in a life-or-death battle that will leave him forever changed. Vulnerable for the first time and pushed to his physical and emotional limits, he confronts not only lethal samurai steel but also his inner struggle against his own immortality, emerging more powerful than we have ever seen him before.
