The film takes place in Japan and while the previous Wolverine left a bad taste in most peoples’ mouths, this one could redeem the series for its past transgressions.
The Wolverine is directed by James Mangold (Walk the Line, 3:10 To Yuma) and also stars Will Yun Lee, Tao Okamoto, Rila Fukushima, Svetlana Khodchenkova, Hiroyuki Sanada, Hal Yamanouchi, and Brian Tee.
