THE WOLVERINE Train Fight Extended Clip

Machinima posted an extended look at The Wolverine train fight sequence, in which our favorite disgruntled Marvel hero must fight a random group of Yakuza on top of a train speeding through Tokyo.

While I’m still apprehensive about the end result of the film, this scene looks very cool.  In addition to Hugh Jackman obviously returning as Wolverine, the film also stars Will Yun Lee, Tao Okamoto, Rila Fukushima, Svetlana Khodchenkova, Hiroyuki Sanada, Hal Yamanouchi, and Brian Tee, with  James Mangold (Walk the Line, 3:10 to Yuma) directing.

The Wolverine slashes into theaters July 26th, hit the break for the clip and synopsis.

Based on the celebrated comic book arc, this epic action-adventure takes Wolverine, the most iconic character of the X-Men universe, to modern day Japan. Out of his depth in an unknown world he faces his ultimate nemesis in a life-or-death battle that will leave him forever changed. Vulnerable for the first time and pushed to his physical and emotional limits, he confronts not only lethal samurai steel but also his inner struggle against his own immortality, emerging more powerful than we have ever seen him before.
