After playing some festivals through 2016, War on Everyone has gotten an official trailer ahead of its release early next year. Michael Peña and Alexander Skarsgård play unapologetic crooked cops in the black comedy that looks a little reminiscent of Shane Black’s oeuvre.
Directed by John Michael McDonagh (Calvary, The Guard), the movie also stars Theo James, Tessa Thompson, Caleb Landry Jones, and Paul Reiser.
War on Everyone will be available on DirecTV starting on January 5th, 2017 and will hit theaters and on demand on February 3rd, 2017.
TERRY (Alexander Skarsgård) and BOB (Michael Peña)are two crooked cops who frame and blackmail criminals all over town. Looking for the ultimate pay-off, they try to extort a strip-club manager (Caleb Landry Jones) and his eccentric, junkie boss, (Theo James), but get more than they bargained for when their hair-brained scheme uncovers a bigger, darker secret.
