The first trailer for Spider-Man: Homecoming debuted on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, and it prominently features Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man and an MGMT song.
Tom Holland is also in it as Spider-Man/Peter Parker, and he definitely looks like a more convincing high school student than Tobey Maguire or Andrew Garfield ever did. On the action side, Spidey does Spidey things — he slings some webs, crawls up buildings, and cracks wise as he breaks up a robbery. We also get a few glimpses of Michael Keaton as Vulture, who looks like a pretty creepy villain.
Spider-Man was a standout in his brief appearance in Captain America: Civil War, and it looks like this latest cinematic reset for the character has potential.
Spider-Man: Homecoming opens on July 7th, 2017.
