AFI’s Top Ten Films of 2016

The American Film Institute has released its 2016 Movies of the Year list. There aren’t any huge surprises, save maybe the inclusion of Sully. An AFI Special Award was given to O.J.: Made in America, as it was considered both a film and a TV series.

A private luncheon will be held on January 6th, 2017 for the honorees.

The list is in alphabetical order and unranked.

AFI MOVIES OF THE YEAR

Arrival
Fences
Hacksaw Ridge
Hell or High Water
La La Land
Manchester by the Sea
