Unfortunately, during all this distribution craziness, the powers that be took the film from Lynch’s hands and re-cut it into something that he didn’t want. Worse yet, at one point his name was going to be taken off the film entirely.
While it’s not known which version of the film will be released, eOne plans a day and date release in theaters and VOD, however the press release didn’t say when exactly. Still, that’s kind of good news right?
