AFI Fest 2013: Full Lineup Announced

The final lineup of this year’s AFI Fest has been released with the full list of independent, world cinema, and midnight selections being announced.  The special screenings and galas have been previously announced with screenings of Alexander Payne‘s Nebraska, Ben Stiller‘s The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, and many more notable entries.  Newly announced titles include Eli Roth‘s The Green Inferno, Ti West‘s The Sacrament, and Kim Ki-duk‘s Moebius.

Hit the break to check out the full list of films screening this year and if you’re not an AFI member you can begin ordering your free tickets October 30th.  The festival will be taking place in Los Angeles from November 7 – 14.

PHILOMENA – Based on the 2009 investigative book by BBC correspondent Martin Sixsmith, “The Lost Child of Philomena Lee,” PHILOMENA focuses on the efforts of Philomena Lee (Dench), mother to a boy conceived out of wedlock, something her Irish-Catholic community didn’t have the highest opinion of, and given away for adoption in the United States. In following church doctrine, she was forced to sign a contract that wouldn’t allow for any sort of inquiry into the son’s whereabouts.
