In an apparent suicide, famed director
Tony Scott has died Sunday at the age of 68. Brother of
Ridley Scott, Tony directed some of the most well-known and successful action films ever made including
Top Gun,
True Romance, and
The Last Boy Scout.
According to officials, the director jumped to his death from the Vincent Thomas bridge near Long Beach, California around 12:30 in the afternoon. It’s also been reported that a note was found in his office, however it’s not been disclosed what the note contained.
Our deepest sympathies go out to the Scott family, and we will report more as we receive more information.
