A new restricted trailer has been released for the upcoming action-comedy
American Ultra, which stars
Jesse Eisenberg as a stoner who turns out to be a government sleeper cell who gets reactivated and must save himself and his girlfriend, played by
Kristen Stewart, from being eliminated. The film is written by
Max Landis (
Chronicle) and directed by
Nima Nourizadeh (
Project X), and also stars
Topher Grace, Walton Goggins, Connie Britton, Bill Pullman, and
Tony Hale.
American Ultra opens in theaters August 21st.
