Downsizing has found a distributor with Paramount picking it up for a fourth quarter 2017 release. The film stars
Matt Damon as a man who joins the ever-growing ranks of people who undergo a procedure that shrinks people down to a tiny size in order to join one of the many small communities sprouting up across the world.
Reese Witherspoon stars as the female lead, however no other cast details have been revealed just yet.
As a fan of nearly all of Payne’s previous films, the idea of him tackling the science fiction genre is very appealing to me and I’ve been excited for this one since Matt Damon was first announced as the lead back in 2014.
