Tim Burton’s MISS PEREGRINE’S HOME FOR PECULIAR CHILDREN Gets a New Trailer

20th Century Fox has released a second trailer for Tim Burton‘s upcoming fantasy film Miss Peregrine’s Home For Peculiar Children, starring Asa Butterfield as a young man who discovers a mysterious mansion housing a group of children all of whom has special powers. The film is based on the novel by Ransom Riggs and also stars Eva Green, Ella Purnell, Allison Janney, Terence Stamp, Rupert Everett, Judi Dench, and Samuel L. Jackson.

This second trailer has me more interested in checking this one out than the first, but I’ve been burned by Burton too many times in recent years to let myself get too excited about any of his movies. At any rate, we’ll see how this one turns out when it hits theaters September 30th.

From visionary director Tim Burton, and based upon the best-selling novel, comes an unforgettable motion picture experience. When Jake discovers clues to a mystery that spans alternate realities and times, he uncovers a secret refuge known as Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children. As he learns about the residents and their unusual abilities, Jake realizes that safety is an illusion, and danger lurks in the form of powerful, hidden enemies. Jake must figure out who is real, who can be trusted, and who he really is.
