Hit the break to see the full list.

Not as good as Sunset but still well written, expertly directed and exceptionally acted.

An intriguing look into a society not often presented on screen.

FRANCES HA directed by Noah Baumbach

Greta Gerwig’s irresistible charm will win you over in this amusing little comedy.

Nearly as good as the first and certainly the third best in the Marvel-verse behind The Avengers and Iron Man.

MUD directed by Jeff Nichols

A solid bayou thriller filled with well written and performed characters that’ll stick with you long after the credits role.

A potent and well acted drama about one woman’s search for love in all the wrong places.

A fun thriller with twists and turns that reach a satisfying conclusion.

SPRING BREAKERS directed by Harmony Korine

Bikinis, guns and drugs.  Spring break, ya’ll!!  It’s not what you’d expect which is another reason to love it.

STAR TREK: INTO DARKNESS directed by J.J. Abrams

Not only is it a fun sci-fi/adventure it ranks high amongst the best in the series.

UPSTREAM COLOR directed by Shane Carruth

I can’t even begin to describe it.  All I know is I really, really liked it when all was said and done.
