2016 Independent Spirit Award Winners

‘Spotlight’

The 2016 Independent Spirit Awards just wrapped, with Tom McCarthy‘s Spotlight being the big winner of the evening, taking home five awards including Best Feature, Best Director, Best Editing, Best Screenplay, and the Robert Altman Award for Best Ensemble. While I would call into question just how “independent” that film is, it was quite good so I don’t have too much to gripe about there.
