Arnold Schwarzenegger Confirmed for ‘Terminator 5’

Over the last couple years there’s been a lot of talk floating around about the next entry in the Terminator series and if Arnold Schwarzenegger would be making a return as the titular character.  Fortunately for fans, Arnold himself confirmed that he will, in fact, be in the film and be playing the main role.  Today, via TheArnoldFans, he said the following:

“In fact, I’m very happy that the studios want me to be in Terminator 5 and to star AS the Terminator, which we start shooting in January and I’m also going to do King Conan – to play that role and also to do another Twins movie. So I feel very proud of that. I feel very happy and I’m looking forward to doing those films.”

This is some potentially exciting news, however it seems odd that Skynet would create a 65 year-old cyborg.  What are your thoughts?
