Here’s the first trailer and poster for Sony Animation’s Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2. The story looks like it picks up directly after the events of the first film, with Flint Lockwood and gang discovering a magical island of food creatures.
When the first film was released in 2009, I had very little desire to see it, however it turned out to be one of my favorite animated films that year. Although this trailer doesn’t blow me away, I’m still hopeful that the sequel will have as much heart and humor as the first. The flick is set to hit theaters September 27th, hit the jump for the trailer and poster.
