DIVERGENT Trailer Starring Shailene Woodley and Kate Winslet

Here’s the debut trailer for Divergent, the latest young adult adaptation that takes a look at a future where individuals are divided into factions based on their personality traits.  Unfortunately for Beatrice Prior (Shailene Woodley), she fails the personality test and is deemed divergent, not fitting into any group.  Kate Winslet plays the authoritarian leader who conspires to kill all the divergents and the group must fight for their survival.

The trailer makes the film look a whole lot like The Hunger Games mixed with the tribal tattoos of Mortal Instruments, but it’s sure to please their pre-teen market.  The film is directed by Neil Burger (Limitless), hit the jump to check out the trailer and synopsis.
