DreamWorks Announces Next Twelve Films

In a desperate move to hopefully cure it’s stock woes, DreamWorks Animation, which distribution was just acquired by 20th Century Fox, has announced it’s next twelve projects. These projects will be released starting 2013, and go through 2016. While some of the movies listed seem like they could be interesting, we’re seeing a lot of the same coming from the studio.  As one might expect, there’s more Kung-Fu Panda, Madagascar, and How to Train Your Dragon headed our direction.

It seems to me, rather than trying to boost numbers by releasing a huge slate of movies, why not just come out with more original titles and focus on quality over quantity? Hit the jump for the full release schedule and details on the films.  The Croods – March 22, 2013
