Drew Goddard to Direct SINISTER SIX

Sony has announced that Drew Goddard (Cabin in the Woods) will write and direct the upcoming Spider-Man spinoff The Sinister Six.  This super group of villains is comprised of Doctor Octopus, Electro, Sandman, Mysterio, Vulture, and Kraven the Hunter, although we can’t be sure of who the movie will include.

Goddard is also writing and directing the Daredevil series for Netflix, which is due to start shooting this summer and come out sometime in 2015.

It’s unclear as to when this will be released, however with Sony announcing plans to release a new Spider-Man film every year, it’s probably not too far off.  Keep in mind there’s also a Venom spin-off in the works, with Alex Kurtzman set to direct.
