A new trailer and poster for
Michael Almereyda‘s upcoming Shakespeare adaptation
Cymbeline has hit online, which stars a slew of people including
Ethan Hawke, Ed Harris, Milla Jovovich, John Leguizamo,
Anton Yelchin, Penn Badgley and
Dakota Johnson. Almereyda previously directed the 200 adaptation of
Hamlet, which also starred Hawke. The film is set in modern day, but looks to carry the Shakespearean language, which could be odd coming from drug dealing bikers and crooked cops.
Either way, there at least looks to be plenty of violence and tragedy so it might be worth a look. Cymbeline currently doesn’t have a US release date, hit the jump to check out the trailer and poster.
