‘Ghostbusters 3’ Still a Possibility

At a recent event, Dan Akroyd confirmed that Ghostbusters 3 isn’t quite dead yet. Months ago, Akroyd stated that Bill Murray was not pleased with the film’s script, and stated he would not be participating in the movie. As a result, the film was put on hold indefinitely, however, now there’s a new writing team working on the script, and things seem to be back on track.“We’ve got a new writing staff working on it now,” stated Aykroyd. “It’s got to be perfect. That’s the whole thing. There’s no point in doing it unless it’s perfect. So that’s what we’re up to now.”

Last month on Letterman, Murray also hinted that he isn’t completely opposed to doing the film, but the script had to be right.

Although all these setbacks may be causing fans to become concerned about the idea of the sequel, I would rather they take their time and get it right. Also, please bring back Rick Moranis, we miss him!
