GOON: LAST OF THE ENFORCERS Gets a Trailer

The first Goon movie was such a pleasant surprise and when it was announced a sequel was in the works I couldn’t wait to see more Seann William Scott as the soft-spoken hard-punching hockey enforcer.

The first trailer for the film was released today, making sure to show us that the second entry will once again be brutal and (hopefully) hilarious. Jay Baruchel, who co-wrote the first film, will be making his directorial debut this time around and will be co-starring alongside Liev Schreiber, Allison Pill, Elisha Cuthbert, and Wyatt Russell.

Goon: Last of the Enforcers will be in theaters in Canada March 17th, but there’s no US release date as of yet.

After one too many concussions, hockey enforcer Doug Glatt (Seann William Scott) is forced to give up his aspirations of going to the big show and settle into a buttoned down career as an insurance salesman at the urging of his pregnant wife Eva (Alison Pill). However, Doug can’t resist the siren call of the Highlanders, so he sets course to reclaim his former glory.
