Netflix has released a new trailer for the upcoming horror-thriller Cam, which follows a young cam girl whose account gets hijacked by a mysterious doppleganger. The film is directed by Daniel Goldhaber and stars Madeline Brewer, Patch Darragh, Melora Walters, and Devin Druid. We caught this at its premiere at Fantasia Fest earlier this year and liked it quite a bit, you can check out the full review here.
Cam will be screening at the Alamo Drafthouse in Brooklyn and available on Netflix November 16th.
CAM follows Alice (Madeline Brewer – Handmaid’s Tale), a camgirl who wakes up one day to find her account has been hijacked by a mysterious lookalike, and who’s life takes a dark spin from there. The film is the feature debut from director Daniel Goldhaber and writer Isa Mazzei and inspired heavily by her own history working as a camgirl.
