KUNG FU PANDA Director Mark Osborne to Adapt BONE

Back when I was a kid and obsessively reading any comic book I could get my hands on, one of my favorite non-super hero series was Jeff Smith‘s Bone. Now, many years later the iconic series is getting adapted into a series of animated films and Mark Osborne (Kung Fu Panda, The Little Prince) will be directing.

This news comes from The Hollywood Reporter, who say that the series will be a trilogy following the adventures of the Bone cousins as they set out on a quest to save the world.

There’s no word yet on the style of animation, but I think we can safely assume this will be CG. Hopefully even if it isn’t hand-drawn it will at least retain Smith’s art style.
