The first teaser trailer for Marvel’s Doctor Strange has premiered on tonight’s Jimmy Kimmel Live!, which gives us a wee taste of Benedict Cumberbatch as the next Marvel cinematic hero. The film is directed by Scott Derrickson (Sinister) and also stars Chiwetel Ejiofor, Tilda Swinton, Michael Stuhlbarg, Benedict Wong, Rachel McAdams, Scott Adkins, Amy Landecker, and Mads Mikkelsen.
Doctor Strange is set to hit theaters November 4th.
“Doctor Strange” follows the story of neurosurgeon Doctor Stephen Strange who, after a horrific car accident, discovers the hidden world of magic and alternate dimensions.
“Doctor Strange” is the latest film in Phase 3 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Phase 3’s goal—over the course of four years and nine films—is to introduce audiences to new heroes and continue the adventures of fan favorites.
