Paramount pictures has announced the official release date for Christopher McQuarrie‘s Mission: Impossible 5, with a December 25, 2015 theatrical date.  This comes only a week after Star Wars Episode VII, and the same day as Live By Night, Ben Affleck’s follow up to Argo.

As of now, there are no casting details other than Tom Cruise reprising his role as Ethan Hunt.
