The first teaser for the sequel to Gareth Edwards‘ 2010 film Monsters has hit the web and although we don’t get to see much, it looks like they’re going much bigger in this than the original. Titled, Monsters: Dark Continent, the new entry is directed by Tom Green (not that Tom Green) and revolves around a soldier who enters the infected zone in order to find one of his fallen comrades.
As a fan of the first film, I’m very excited for the sequel, however the lack of involvement from Edwards has me feeling apprehensive. The film stars Joe Dempsie (Game of Thrones, Southcliffe) and Johnny Harris (Welcome to the Punch, Snow White and the Huntsman).
