Paul Thomas Anderson’s INHERENT VICE Set for December Release

Warner Bros. announced today that Paul Thomas Anderson‘s adaptation of Thomas Pynchon‘s novel Inherent Vice will be released on December 12, 2014.  This ’60s detective story stars Joaquin Phoenix, Katherine Waterston, Josh Brolin, Benicio Del Toro, Owen Wilson, Reese Witherspoon, Martin Short, Jena Malone, Kevin J. O’Connor, and Maya Rudolph.

Although the theatrical date is set for December, I’d bet to see the world premiere at a festival sometime this year.
