The film, written and directed by Maggie Carey, takes place in 1993 and focuses on a nerdy girl (Plaza) who decides to lose her virginity before heading off to college. It looks like it’s going to be packed full of 90s nostalgia, Trapper Keeper references included, which could be fun if handled correctly.
