A24 posted up a new trailer for the intensely creepy supernatural horror film The Witch. The film takes place in 17th century New England and follows a family who gradually turn on each other after the mysterious abduction of their newborn son and subsequent strangeness occurring on their farm. Robert Eggers writes and directs, and stars Anya Taylor-Joy, Ralph Ineson, and Kate Dickie.
This one looks incredibly unsettling and I’ve heard nothing but good things out of Sundance so I’ll be very anxious to see this one when it comes out sometime next year.

When their newborn son mysteriously vanishes and their crops fail, the family begins to turn on one another.
