STAR WARS: EPISODE VII Gets an Official Title

The official title for the next Star Wars film has been officially revealed and will henceforth be known as Star Wars: The Force Awakens. This announcement was released earlier today via the Star Wars Twitter account with the above image attached.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens opens in theaters December 18th, 2015, and stars John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Harrison Ford, Adam Driver, Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Lupita Nyong’o, Oscar Isaac, Domhnall Gleeson, Andy Serkis, and Gwendoline Christie.
