STAR WARS: EPISODE VII to Release on December 18, 2015

Mark your calendars and put in your vacation time time now because Disney and Lucasfilm have announced that the much anticipated Star Wars: Episode VII will have an official release date of December 18, 2015.  The film is being written and directed by J.J. Abrams, with Lawrence Kasdan also working on the script.

There’s still no word on the final cast as of yet, but we’ll be sure to keep you posted as it gets announced.

On a related Disney note, the Brad Bird directed Tomorrowland will be shifting its release from December 12, 2014 to May 22, 2015.
