The first trailer has been released for Steven Spielberg‘s latest, the Cold War thriller Bridge of Spies starring Tom Hanks. The film also stars Mark Rylance, Scott Shepherd, Amy Ryan, Sebastian Koch and Alan Alda.

Bridge of Spies opens in theaters October 16th.

An American lawyer is recruited by the CIA during the Cold War to help rescue a pilot detained in the Soviet Union.
