To Make Matters Worse… ‘The Family Circus’ Movie

Yes, it appears that everyone’s least favorite comic The Family Circus is getting a film adaptation.  Fox and Walden Media have been working on this project since 2010, and it seems like they’re starting to move forward by announcing Nichole Millard and Kathryn Price (The Game Plan) will be writing the script.  While I’m sure there are some fans out there, I’m skeptical that this will please them on any level.  Remember, they made a  Marmaduke movie and look how that turned out.

There’s no director attached yet, but I’m thinking it would be fun to take the strip into more adult territory and have someone like Judd Apatow adapt it.  I know this will never happen, but it should.
