Here’s the first trailer for the upcoming Tina Fey, Paul Rudd comedy Admission. In the film Fey plays an admissions officer at Princeton, whose life gets thrown into disarray after meeting a former friend and discovering she has a teenage son. Paul Weitz (About a Boy) is directing, and Lily Tomlin, Gloria Reuben, Wallace Shawn, and Michael Sheen also star.

Though I’m sure this will be as predictable as can be, the allure of seeing Tina Fey and Paul Rudd riff off each other on screen sounds like it will be worth the price of ADMISSION (Get it?). The film is set to hit theaters March 8, 2013, read the full synopsis and watch the trailer after the jump.

Admission is about the surprising detours we encounter on the road to happiness. Straight-laced Princeton University admissions officer Portia Nathan (Tina Fey) is caught off-guard when she makes a recruiting visit to an alternative high school overseen by her former college classmate, the free-wheeling John Pressman (Paul Rudd). Pressman has surmised that Jeremiah (Nat Wolff), his gifted yet very unconventional student, might well be the son that Portia secretly gave up for adoption many years ago. Soon, Portia finds herself bending the rules for Jeremiah, putting at risk the life she thought she always wanted — but in the process finding her way to a surprising and exhilarating life and romance she never dreamed of having.
