‘V/H/S 2’ Green Band Trailer

Today, Apple Trailers released the new green band version of the V/H/S 2 trailer, and while it may not be as bloody as the red band version launched last week, there’s a bunch of new footage and it still looks incredibly frightening.  Keeping with the format of the original, V/H/S 2 will be a found footage anthology film comprised of 4 short tales from 4 different directors.

This time around, the producers enlisted the talent of Simon Barrett, Adam Wingard, Gareth Evans, Eduardo Sanchez, Gregg Hale, Jason Eisener and Timo Tjahjanto to direct, and I’ve been hearing nothing but good things about this from when it made its festival run.  The film hits VOD on June 6th, with a theatrical date of July 12th.  Hit the jump for the new trailer and synopsis.

Searching for a missing student, two private investigators break into his abandoned house and find another collection of mysterious VHS tapes. In viewing the horrific contents of each cassette, they realize there may be terrifying motives behind the student’s disappearance.
