Warner Bros. Taps ‘Bioshock’ Creator to Write ‘Logan’s Run’

Deadline broke the news today that Warner Bros. has brought on Ken Levine to take a crack at the long gestating remake of the 1976 science fiction classic Logan’s Run.  Levine is best known as the creative director and co-founder of Irrational Games, the makers of the popular Bioshock series.

Logan’s Run has been changing hands quite a few times over the last few years, with Bryan Singer originally attached, and more recently Nicolas Winding Refn and Ryan Gosling in talks to revive the cult classic.

While it seems like reviving old properties is certainly a trend in Hollywood, how about having Levine adapt Bioshock into a film instead?  I think that’s something we’d all rather see.
