The film, directed by Liz Garbus, made its premiere at this year’s Sundance Film Festival and was made in cooperation with the Estate of Nina Simone and features never-before-heard recordings and rare archival footage spanning the course of 30 years.
What Happened, Miss Simone? will be available on Netflix June 26th.
