Woody Harrelson To Play The Villain in WAR OF THE PLANET OF THE APES

Earlier today, THR reported that Woody Harrelson has been brought into the next installment of the Planet of The Apes series, War of the Planet of the Apes, as the new villain. While more details on his role are under wraps, the article does say that his character will be known as “The Colonel.”

Matt Reeves will be returning to direct, with Mark Bomback coming back to write the screenplay.

War of the Planet of the Apes opens in theaters July 14th, 2017.
