‘World War Z’ Trailer 2

 

Here’s the new trailer for Marc Forster‘s much delayed zombie epic World War Z with Brad Pitt. Though there is some new footage in this trailer including a particularly cool plane scene (which looks an awful like the scene in the Iron Man 3 trailer), I think most people are still remaining cautious about this one.

The numerous delays, rewrites, and reshoots have many concerned about the end product of this film, but I’m still hopeful we’ll have a solid zombie flick on our hands. Loosely based on a novel by Max Brooks (son of Mel), the movie looks to take the concept of the zombie horde to the next level by having literal waves of thousands of them flowing through cities and towns.  Hit the jump for the synopsis and trailer, World War Z hits theaters June 21st. 

“The story revolves around United Nations employee Gerry Lane (Pitt), who traverses the world in a race against time to stop the Zombie pandemic that is toppling armies and governments and threatening to decimate humanity itself.
