Dan Trachtenberg to Direct SPACE RACE

Last year, Dan Trachtenberg‘s meticulously-crafted genre-bender 10 Cloverfield Lane announced him as a filmmaker to watch. Now we have a little info on what we may see from him next. Per Deadline, Trachtenberg is attached to Space Race, currently in development at Universal with a spec script from Daniel Kunka (12 Rounds).

Details are being kept under wraps for now with no description or details on plot. Though I’d be interested to learn a little more, the mystery box approach turned out just fine for the director’s last film.
