Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck to Direct CAPTAIN MARVEL

Marvel has found not one but two directors for 2019’s Captain Marvel. The studio has selected Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck, the directors of Mississippi Grind and Half Nelson, to helm the upcoming Phase 3 tentpole.

The team’s output doesn’t necessarily scream superhero film pedigree, but perhaps that’s a good thing. Starring Brie Larson as the titular hero, Captain Marvel will arrive in theaters on March 8th, 2019.
