In more interesting developments for James Wan’s Aquaman, The Hollywood Reporter revealed that Nicole Kidman and The Get Down’s Yahya Abdul-Mateen II are in talks to join the cast. Kidman would play Aquaman’s mother Atlanna, while Abdul-Mateen II would play villain Black Manta.
The cast already includes Jason Momoa as the titular hero, Amber Heard, Patrick Wilson, and Willem Dafoe.
Aquaman is in theaters on October 5th, 2018.
