Marvel’s Black Panther, which already boasted an impressive cast, has made another notable addition with Sterling K. Brown. Directed by Ryan Coogler (Creed), the film also stars Chadwick Boseman as the titular hero, along with Michael B. Jordan, Forest Whitaker, Lupita Nyong’o, Angela Bassett, Danai Gurira, Daniel Kaluuya, Winston Duke, and Florence Kasumba.

Brown was fantastic in American Crime Story, earning an Emmy and a Golden Globe nomination for his portrayal of Christopher Darden. In Black Panther he will play N’Jobu, “a figure from T’Challa aka Black Panther’s past.”

Emmy winner Sterling K. Brown has joined the cast of Marvel Studios’ “Black Panther” in the role of N’Jobu, a figure from T’Challa aka Black Panther’s past.

Brown recently won an Emmy Award and is Golden Globe-nominated for his portrayal of Christopher Darden in “The People V. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story.” The veteran stage and screen actor also garnered Screen Actors Guild and NAACP Image award nominations for the role as well as for the critically acclaimed TV show “This Is Us.”

Directed by Ryan Coogler (“Fruitvale Station,” “Creed”), “Black Panther” stars Chadwick Boseman in the title role alongside Michael B. Jordan, Forest Whitaker, Lupita Nyong’o, Angela Bassett, Danai Gurira, Daniel Kaluuya, Winston Duke, and Florence Kasumba. The film arrives in theaters on February 16, 2018.
