A trailer has been released for Bokeh, a sci-fi drama about a vacationing young couple (Maika Monroe and Matt O’Leary) that wakes to discover they’re the last people on Earth. It’s a familiar Twilight Zone-esque conceit, but it could be an interesting one depending on the direction of the story and its effect on the characters.
Written and directed by Geoffrey Orthwein and Andrew Sullivan, Bokeh hits theaters and VOD on March 24th.
When a flash of light shoots across the sky on their romantic, Iceland vacation, Jenai (Maika Monroe) and Riley (Matt O’Leary) wake up to discover every person on earth has disappeared. Their struggle to survive and to reconcile the mysterious event lead them to reconsider everything they know about themselves and the world.
