Janus Films has released the first U.S. trailer for The Lure, which looks like your typical Polish cannibal mermaid musical. The dark fantasy centers on two mermaid sisters who go ashore in 1980s Poland and become nightclub singers. It looks weird and wonderful. Check out the wacky full synopsis below.
The feature debut from director Agnieszka Smoczynska, The Lure played Sundance last year and will open in New York on February 1st, 2017 before a national rollout.
