‘Paranormal Activity 4’ Trailer

Paranormal Activity 4 is finally here and with it, it brings “fresh” ideas such as time stamps, shaky cam, lights turning off and then back on to reveal a shadowy figure and comatose standing. Judging from the trailer, the movie appears to pick up where Paranormal Activity 2 left off, following Katie (Katie Featherston, reprising her role from all the previous Paranormal Activities) and introducing a few new characters. Directors Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman (Paranormal Activity 3 and Catfish) also return to the found footage franchise. The film will likely involve a variety of cameras being set up in a house and patiently waiting for things to happen, usually around the late-night hours, then near the end some scary(?) things will happen in the daytime – just a hunch. I am, however, excited for this film because the Paranormal Activity movies have become sort-of a tradition for me. Every year, I go the movie theater to see teenagers and adults alike scream out in terror as I try to quiet my snickering. Look for Paranormal Activity 4 to hit theaters on October 19th.
