We’ll see how these personality changes are handled, but based on the rest of the Transformers series I don’t have much confidence that the one in The Last Knight will contain a lot of depth. Or make any sense.
Optimus’ motivations will be revealed (possibly) when the latest Michael Bay giant robot movie is released on June 23rd, 2017.
